Hong Kong watching Chinese nuclear plant after leak reported
- datameta 5y agoI know only as much as is in this article about this particular occurence with the nuclear power station but I can say the CCP's method of responding to potential industrial accidents is deeply reminiscent of the Soviet Union's. To save face is of far higher importance than potentially informing the necessary parties of vital details. I don't imply that this is what will happen here but the constant theater of "situation normal" is how events cross over into SNAFU without anyone knowing the cause in a timely manner.
- Proven 5y agoIt is true everything is normal: > CNN reported Framatome wrote to the U.S. Department of Energy ... accusing Chinese authorities of raising acceptable limits for radiation outside the plant Radiation level was withi acceptable limits before and it is now as well.
