why would we pay the pickers thousands of dollars an hour?
- TulliusCicero 5y agoYou think 10x their current wage is thousands of dollars an hour...so you think their current wage is hundreds of dollars an hour?
- code_duck 5y agoNo, what I’m calling into question is that 10x wages for employees results in a 10x premium for groceries. Wages are not that high a component of consumer price. Another tongue in cheek way of responding to GP would be that we should pay JavaScript developers $12.50 an hour with no benefits.
