I kept hearing its not unusual for people in the west to take gap years, so thats what Im doing. As a Westerner, I have never taken a gap year but I never met anyone who took one and wish they didn't. If you can make it work, take it, especially after the Pandemic because it's going to be an awesome time to travel.
