I just use an alias and an automatic rule that puts newsletters/promotional stuff into a special folder (called "2ndary Inbox" in my case).
Simple, free, and pretty effective.

- enz 5y agoThis is on Fastmail. I don't know Gmail that much, but I guess it should be doable.
