You know surely as much as me that we engineer will propose maybe better concept but would lack possibly in sales acument, value production vs cost, market timing, optimal quality (sometimes a client really doesnt care about a quality increment at all, while you could have spent your time on something else more rewarding), etc. It's fine, company work as symbiotic systems, we create a certain tension, others focused on other dimensions will counter balance, and a good company will find ways to reach optimums rather than maximums.
