Not sure when it's going to be out of beta.
- tedk-42 5y agoRemote development machines aren't for everyone and availability will always be an issue. I remember as a student trying to debug an issue on a train. I would have been so frustrated if the internet connection to my remote machine was impeding my ability to think through a debugging scenario. I've been waiting on the beta list for almost a year I think and haven't heard anything.
- ja27 5y agoOne solution I've seen is to carry a Raspberry Pi, especially a Zero, and connect to that from the iPad via WiFi or USB-C. Can even VNC to it for a full desktop experience. Pretty portable and low-power.
