Effectiveness of Covid-19 vaccines against the B.1.617.2 variant

Absolute differences in vaccine effectiveness were more marked with dose 1. This would support maximising vaccine uptake with two doses among vulnerable groups. I was pretty sick after my second dose, so I’m glad I can still enjoy a bit more peace of mind. I’m hoping I won’t need to re-vaccinate anytime soon, and when I do, hopefully my symptoms will be more mild. Not the end of the world either way.
