I wrote a python script running on a raspberrypi: would listen for a button press on a sheet fed scanner, make a PDF and send to the destination of my choice. I could have bought a fancier internet connected scanner but that would have been wasteful. Does this fall in the tools category? Or it's more automation than tools?
