If someone with a network wants to have a normal human conversation about interests/goals/tech and maybe find whether or not there's a good fit among their contacts, I'll make the time to have that conversation with them even if I don't necessarily expect anything to come of it. But if the recruiter obviously can't even be bothered to read my interests I've published on my profile, they can take a long hike off a short pier.
