“So I asked an expert on children and technology for her opinion on best practices.” The best practice is to wait until kids are more mature before handing them a tablet. I understand tablets can be tremendously helpful to keep kids occupied at restaurants or dinner parties but it’s part of the duty of being a parent.
- PaulHoule 5y agoAnimals and preverbal children can use tablets; even the mouse is a step beyond the direct interaction with visual elements. I find it creepy that so many toddlers play with tablets and phones.
