Seems like fair play to me honestly and can only really be elegantly dealt with on yelps end by tracking who users are and showing them reviews of people with similar preferences.
The logical approach to me given the current system would be vax passport proponents to penalize bars for NOT requiring such passports in the reviews. I think these reviews are fair game but the knife cuts both ways.
Not that I use Yelp since they're extortion racketeers.
- ergot_vacation 5y agoTo be fair to Yelp, who could have guessed when any of these services were being made that literally everything would become viciously political in the course of a couple years. You can't even go out to eat now (let alone see a movie or play a game) without it being a referendum on all your social and political beliefs. You're right though, ultimately this doesn't matter much. Yelp has been garbage for years, so it's not really worth discussion the fun new ways they're garbage.
