This is completely foreign to me. Do these people drive by bushes and quickly scan for berries and shrooms to pluck? In the actual real world?
- emodendroket 5y agoThey usually go for a hike or walk around their neighborhood. I discovered black raspberries in my yard last year and once I learned to identify them I see them everywhere in season. I can totally see how it would become distracting if you were more serious about foraging.
- Alex3917 5y agoNot often purposely. It’s more like once you know how to see it, it’s hard to turn it off. E.g. the other day I saw magic mushrooms growing near my house. I can teach you how to see that, but I can’t teach you to unsee it.
