Think about that for a second.
Seemingly innocuous changes in UX for a maps app can literally kill people, either inside or outside of the car.
Gives a whole new meaning to an A/B test.
- ashtonkem 5y agoThe Instagram speed badge was associated with a few deaths iirc. Encouraging higher speed is obviously bad, but encouraging users to look at their phone while traveling extremely fast is particularly dumb. Edit: it actually was Snapchat.
