Silicon Valley’s ‘Mission Protocol’ Revolution Beginning to Attain Critical Mass
- cybert00th 5y agoCouldn't agree more. And about time too
- nibsfive 5y agoWe implemented this with 30 people. No wokesplosions, just private positive feedback.

- N1H1L 5y agoSmug tech bros high-fiving each other. What's new?
- tekstar 5y agoAt least some of these CEOs fomented the wokeness and tried to utilize it until it became a liability. I worked at one of the companies mentioned in the article, and remember the CEO saying at town halls "there is no better company than <this company> to enact positive change in the world today" and pat themselves on the bat.
- wutbrodo 5y agoHow is that wokeness, and how does it contradict the Mission Protocol approach? Believing in and focusing on your organization's mission is not the same thing as the "our battles belong on every battlefield" approach that the woke and other religious fanatics adhere to.
- eyelovewe 5y agoMy, what a strikingly unabashedly arrogant collection of words. I do think that someone OD’ed on their Ayn Rand. In other news, energy vampires often use contemporary moral umbrage to gain personal leverage in environments that the author rather clearly informs us are expressly DESIGNED to amplify “lord of the flies” cum “law of the jungle” values. Mkay Why this would require more capitalism and not simply calling spades spades is for the shareholders to know and you to find out. Surely this will not inspire backlashes, and surely such forward thinking corps will not be pilloried for cartoonishly reductionist world views. Pro Tip: the climate emergency has inspired a woke vector in the boardroom. Can’t claim to be pure business running up against that one, can you? Will have to admit to being a monarchist human pyramid person. Crikey
- eyelovewe 5y agoHow can you pretend that this is not massively political? And no, I’m not a noisemaker at work, but this is not a neutral unbiased article. You post an extremely aggressive article loaded with fighting words and then flag the person that expresses displeasure with the article. I think I rather kept my emotions out of it. If you knew how actually angry I feel at the person who flagged me you certainly don’t get that anger in my flagged comment. I actually hated the article and have ill will towards the person who misused community decency to flag my rather restrained critique of a lousy article
