I beta for a music instrument manufacturer. Getting into their slack channel felt completely arbitrary. I never entered a password I just clicked a link on whichever browser I was using. What? Is that normal?? I’ve never used slack prior to this.
- jacobsenscott 5y agoI believe slack can send one time use login links via email. Given the short timeout and one time use on these links I would consider this more secure than a password based login. Most users just re-use passwords or use simple passwords.
