This is a great series, I've been following the new stories every week. Highly recommend. I'll admit I'm a little salty that the LambdaMOO entry did not get any discussion here. In my formative years I played several IF titles, mostly all in Inform. I tend to get stumped easily by the games that are too puzzle-heavy (I think I got about 5 minutes into curses; and this article does not make me want to revisit), but I remember that Photopia really stuck with me. The most recent IF title that I played, and also really enjoyed, was Hadean Lands. That one came out in 2014 I think.
