The military brass is never going to argue that the world is a safer place and they have no need of their obscene budget, come on. They happily manufacture whatever villains are necessary to get the goods.
- wait_a_minute 5y agoDo you believe that Chinese aggression in Hong Kong and Taiwan, or Russia’s towards Ukraine, are manufactured villains/risks?
- ahelwer 5y agoConvince me why I should want to contribute 10% of the money I earn every year to keep these countries I've never visited from being controlled by a different (in Ukraine, very slightly different) set of people. Also, as a bonus, for my money I get bombs dropped semi-randomly throughout the middle east. Two for one!
