I work there and wouldn’t call this a “reversal”, but rather a clarification on details. They’ve been taking about when they expect people to come back but haven’t said anything about work from home options. Sounds like they’ve settled on a guideline.
- CoastalCoder 5y agoI'd expect a certain amount of posturing from both employees and employers regarding this. I.e., it's a point of contention, and there's an incentive to bluff. Each side wants to make the other side fear the consequences of demanding more than the labor market will bear.
