We Should Look for Star-Sized Supercomputers to Find Aliens
- klausnrooster 5y agoI cannot recall ever reading an admission that all the star-gazing we do is looking into the past. The very distant past in many cases. The IR from Dyson Spheres, alien radio, all that, could be on it's way, inside our light-cone. Articles like this (apart from being very interesting and not focused on my peeves) seem to equate abscence of evidence with evidence of absence. I get that there is no universal clock, or maybe I don't. What am I missing?
