I use Android, which lets you enable/disable particular notification categories. I've simply uninstalled all food delivery apps that send promotions using the "General" category (IIRC Grubhub was the work offender). Uber Eats and DoorDash categorize their promotional notifications appropriately, so I never see them (and do get notifs about my deliveries).
