I see a lot of support in comments for documenting everything. People say they write everything down and their colleagues don't read it. If you document everything I imagine a huge wiki (confluence) full of irrelevant docs for the task that I'm looking to solve right now. Instead of spending an excruciating boring day sifting through it on the chance I find what I'm looking for, offcourse I ask for a quick intro.
