No Clarity Around Growth Mindset
- itronitron 5y agoMy takeaway after reading this and having some exposure to the growth-mindset as it is 'taught' to fifth graders... K-12 schools should not be letting popular psychology fads influence a child's education. One nasty side effect of growth-mindset indoctrination is that children with ability are simply going to stop making an effort because not only are they good at spotting rigged tests, they are now being taught that the educational system is biased against them.
