If I can watch videos or sleep behind the wheel, 8.5 sounds reasonable to me.

- sneak 5y agoHow about to use the internet? Or to use the smartphone you already paid for? Attempts at renting your own hardware back to you should be rejected on sight.
- xmly 5y agoI would compare it with the apps on my iPhone like Netflix.
- ineedasername 5y agoNetflix isn't on your phone. The app is a portal to their servers & content. If all of the hardware & software is already in the car, which you bought, then they are renting your car back to you. There is no marginal increase increase in their own costs. You already "own" everything needed to make it work. This is more like having an iPhone with a bunch of videos you already purchased downloaded on to it and then having to pay a fee to watch them.

The hardware will be, buy the software will probably need constant improvements and updates. It's more like having purchased an iPhone and having to pay a subscription to have access to real time map data.
