What would you pay for autonomous driving? Volkswagen hopes $8.50 per hour
- iab 5y agoI suppose, as with most things, "it depends". If a model-Y base is 39k + 10k FSD, and an ID.4 is 39k, that is ~1100hrs of self-driving (whatever that ends-up being) at that 8.50 price point. If we ballpark 3 days a week, 2hours autonomous drive/day (YMMV, lol) then that is recouped in 46 months. Would rather buy a Tesla, and I don't really care for Tesla.
- verdverm 5y agoYay, more corporations locking us into subscription plans they can revoke without reason. Wonder how long before we will own nothing, yet be so far from the great mystics who lived this way...?
