- dredmorbius 5y agoThe outcome of this letter and the ensuing no-poaching policy amongst numerous San Francisco Bay Area tech firms was an antitrust suit and settlement by the US Department of Justice. Employees are estimated to have lost at least $3 billion in compensation, and sought treble damages of $9 billion. The case settled for $435 million.
