I can't imagine ever choosing a place to live based on what my neighbor's political ideology is. It's a sad reflection on the state of this country that CA is the conservative prime evil and the south is full of dumb rednecks to liberals. It's amazing what actually going to places reveals - that there are actual human beings that live in these places, and perhaps aren't as unreasonable as twitter makes you think.
