Thank you. I know it is a little top-posty, but older email clients worked this way, and outlook.com still does. It makes more sense to me, for the same reason newer emails in the first column are at the top. Obviously this would need to be an option, as I'm sure there are people who prefer the current behavior. Also, and I understand this is a reach, but if you could please ask you engineering team to rewrite the whole front end in htmx, that would be great. :)
