I haven't touched corporate printing for several years.
But I can't say that 'home' printing was difficult under Linux (Ubuntu/Pop!OS 20.04/21.04), Windows 10 and a couple of Apple devices.
This has been with two Brother printers (one print-only B&W laser, the other a B&W MFD laser) and two HP inkjet MFDs.
In all the cases to get printing working it's been just a case of connecting the printer to the network and then it's appeared on all the devices.
Scanning is more difficult - requiring either use of the web interface or installing extra drivers.
