I really enjoy using Deno, and would use it as a replacement for Node (I know it can't replace every setup out there but for me it would work). The only thing that bugs me is the fact that it's impossible to bypass strict SSL/TLS verification using fetch. (Let's say for locally hosted connections or IP addresses with a cert installed on server). I understand it shouldn't be used out in the wild but developers should have an 'option' to disable in certain circumstances.
