In some romance languages "having hunger" is literally how one expresses that someone is hungry...
- evancox100 5y agoYes, for example “tengo hambre" in Spanish. But the point is how are we using English to convey these things
- LargoLasskhyfv 5y agoGerman too: "Ich habe hunger." You could say "Ich bin hungrig." (I'm being hungry) but nobody does that.
