So are you stating that 3% of the daily deaths from COVID-19 are of fully vaccinated people? I cannot find anything backing this up online, and even that seems like it would be a near zero number if you're measuring against recoveries.
- michaelmrose 5y agoI heard it on local WA state tv news which makes it harder to dig up. The thesis of the story was that almost all the deaths were people that hadn't vaccinated ergo vaccines work. What I am seeing from the CDC is around 535 break through deaths out of 3016 hospitalizations as of June 1st but this isn't broken down by time frame so I cannot compare a time frame to see what percentage exactly are break through deaths however looking at the rough magnitude of breakthrough deaths vs deaths makes me doubt that 3% is accurate nationwide.
