Anybody who has used Go in VSCode for longer than two days is familiar with the constant need to restart gopls. That's probably the biggest annoyance. There are a ton of other minor ones, too. To be fair, language servers in general are absolute garbage, but the combination of VSCode and gopls is particularly bad.
