I'm still amazed at how many people will say "CG-NAT" is all you need. People don't want globally routable addresses.
Probably the same kind of person that says 10mbps upload speed is all anyone would ever want.
- LinuxBender 5y agoA big chunk of the ipv6 adoption is from wireless and VPS providers. Amazon, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc... Consumer ISP adoption is still rather low. I don't have the link handy, though it came up in a past discussion here.
- cheweh 5y agoGlobally routable addresses are bad for privacy.
