Since when is being anti-Marxist trolling?
Is that how misguided HNers have become?
- smcl 5y agoI have hit "vouch" on this post because I wanted to respond. Being anti-Marxist (you originally said cultural-Marxist which is a reference to something different) is a perfectly valid position to hold, and if you spend much time on HN you'll find that there's actually a fair amount of political discussions and representation from the left, the centre and the right. But what you said looked weirdly out of place in this thread, and to be honest it seemed to me you were more interested in starting a fight than anything else.
- redis_mlc 5y agoThere's no distinction between Marxism and cultural Marxism as their goals are the same - to restructure society for the benefit of Marxist leaders. And there's been virtually no discussion of centrist viewpoints on HN in the past year - the US Democratic Party and BLM Inc. are Marxist organizations. Anything that's not leftist is automatically MAGA on HN despite facts. The reason you keep hearing racism accusations from the left is that they don't want solutions - they want appeasement, to advance Marxism. Luckily Senator Manchin (D) refuses to allow Marxist policies to be codified into law. Someday reality will dawn on HN about Marxism in the US, like the recent "discovery" here that the lab leak theory was always plausible. It's been embarrassing seeing HN downvote that for a year, too. (BTW: LLNL published a secret report in May 2020 that the lab leak theory was credible. Oops.) If what I said isn't clear to you about progressives, watch this video of a socialist Swede interviewing Ann Coulter. The Swede represents the average US leftist today, who thinks they know what's going on in the US, but has no understanding beyond virtue signalling. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxTtjGamJtI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxTtjGamJtI
