In what way is it not a picture?
- belter 5y agoIt is data massaged to create a synthetic representation with a "color" chosen by scientists who then spread around the word its a photo. Even the president of the Max Planck institute one of the most respected German institutions called it a picture. Did you notice it was made with radio telescopes ? Do they take pictures ? If I take radar measurements of big asteroid coming close to earth and you represent its elevations and valleys do you call it a picture ? They even choose the colors.... I plan to download the data make a new "picture" with a bright green orange and wait for them to tell me why the color in my "picture" is incorrect...
