They asked for my password when I took a MacBook I took get repaired, it wouldn't power on. I told them in no uncertain terms they cannot have my password, full disk encryption was enabled, and then pointed out if they can get the machine to the password prompt I'll be satisfied it's repaired. I'm convinced these people are either intentionally being nefarious, or they were dropped on their fucking heads at birth.
