It easily could if you’re not careful though. I can easily see people unlocking the phone and opening the Wallet app to bring it up. Also, with FaceID it pretty much unlocks automatically, and most people would look at the phone first before handing it over. I suspect Apple has probably thought of this already and has some way to control it better.
