That's why they got punished for it in the class action lawsuit. If the repair shop tells you they used a genuine screen, and your phone tells you it can't tell it's genuine or not who do you expect most people are going to trust? I think a good portion of people are going to feel lied to that they didn't put in a genuine screen when they actually did.
