U5+ is at Jan 2015 levels and U6++ at June 2015 levels. The 25-54 employment rate is where it was in Dec 2014. I agree that the current situation doesn’t need much explanation. Things are not exactly where they were pre-covid but the employment situation seems pretty darn healthy considering the year we just had. + Total Unemployed, Plus Discouraged Workers, Plus All Other Persons Marginally Attached to the Labor Force, as a Percent of the Civilian Labor Force Plus All Persons Marginally Attached to the Labor Force ++ U5 plus Total Employed Part Time for Economic Reasons (i.e. involuntary part time)
