The "Paradox of Tolerance" is an example of the slippery slope fallacy.
- missedthecue 5y agoThe slippery slope isn't a fallacy. It's another term for Overton Window. In other words, if the baseline of what is societally acceptable is moved, things that were previously considered extreme are more likely to be seriously considered.
