bare minimum this ^does_not^ require metal hooks, in all seriousness velcro would suffice to subdue without unessecary penetrating injury. for comparison in the past while working in a warehouse we were bored, and wrapped the newguy in shipping cling wrap, around the chest a couple dozen times. He couldnt breath, we quickly cut it off him, and decided never again.

    no it doesnt however a bolo aroundthe chest is a constriction, that restricts inhalation at conveinince. the shrinkwrap prank seemed like fun but it was near disaster

        when you aim at the chest its relevant, or when you aim at the neck or head its relevant, there is nothing to keep this aimed at the knees except someone saying thats the only acceptable use.

        Sure but that seems like just a made up scare. Police carry knives too and could stab people if they wanted. Nothing prevents that except someone saying it’s not an acceptable use. Police wear belts which could be taken off and used to garrote suspects. Nothing prevents that except someone saying it is not an acceptable use.

        actual deaths from the actual abuse of authority,resources,and weaponry, there is a reason why such weaponry as a bola is illegal to possess, despite the expedience of construction. discharging/throwing a bola at the head neck chest, is how you inflict fatality. this is not supposition, you can have a friend help you to find out, in your own backyard, i would expect your friend will have to post the results in your stead

        So in fact there are no such deaths despite you trying to give the impression that there are, and this is in fact all supposition despite you claiming otherwise. It is a scare you made up, no different from the danger of police garotting people with their belts.

I’d far prefer this to be used on me than a taser or a gun.
