Yep. There are both manufacturing and tourist part time jobs that are almost always available. Plus Uber, Lyft, door dash etc is all here. And Yea I've done the ferry quite a few times, definitely a cool way IMO. There are lots of ways to get to the Bahamas from Florida daily. And generally it is pretty inexpensive.
