What was the point of all of the globalist nonsense that The United States has been up to for the last 40+ years? It appears to have done nothing to stop China

What was the point of all of the globalist nonsense that The United States has been up to for the last 40+ years? It appears to have done nothing to stop China, which, just off of the top of my head: 1) Is by far the largest industrial polluter in the world 2) Seems hell bent on completely fishing all of the fish out of the ocean 3) Makes absurd territorial claims to places like Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the South China Sea, then acts indignant when these absurd territorial claims are questioned. 4) Is currently engaged in an active genocide 5) Perpetrated the deadliest industrial disaster so far (the wuhan lab leak) 6) Does all of this, in the rest of the world's face, and barely even bothers to lie about it. Then plays the victim if it is brought up. I mean what the hell? What are we even doing? Is this seriously how the global order collapses? What does the world look like with a hegemonic China? It is seriously the most depressing thing to me that the world appears to just be rolling over to allow a genocidal dictatorship to take over. Where does that leave humanity in 1000 years?
