Show HN: I made a webapp to help people create flag designs for fun
- deleted 5y ago[deleted]
- creata 5y agoMinor bug: if I visit the page in 1920x1080, everything is too big. But if I resize the page to 960x1080 and back, the layout becomes good.
- scratchyone 5y agoI think you might be missing a word there? Everything is too what? Also thank you for the report!
- creata 5y agoSorry, edited. I'm on Firefox 88.0.1, if that helps.
- scratchyone 5y agoThank you! I’ll try it on firefox and see if I can reproduce the issue
- fortylove 5y agoI read this as Firefox causes the typo, and enjoyed a good laugh.
- dazsnow 5y agoI like the URL feature. I can share the French army's flag :p https://flag.rachel.systems/#WyJGRkZGRkYiXQ== https://flag.rachel.systems/#WyJGRkZGRkYiXQ==
- nexuist 5y agoUnfortunately not possible to make in this tool, but here's the flag for the French Resistance: https://www.crwflags.com/FOTW/FLAGS/fr_freef.html https://www.crwflags.com/FOTW/FLAGS/fr_freef.html Important to remember that French men and women post-invasion chose to fight even harder! Although I will admit that the meme is funny :)
- achow 5y agoHa! It took me couple of sec. I was about to report that the URL doesn't work, it falls back on a default scheme :-)
- js4ever 5y agoFun with flags, my first thought was for Sheldon Cooper. Simple, fast and effective, well done :)
- jessedhillon 5y agoHere's one that allows you to mix and match symbols and motifs that are common to national flags: https://flag-designer.appspot.com/ https://flag-designer.appspot.com/
- alphabet9000 5y agonice, enjoyed making one https://flag.rachel.systems/#Wy0xLCJFQkVERUEiLCJCNUI3MjYiLCIyM0I0QjEiLCIyMkIyMUYiLCJBNjIwQTciLCJBODFFMUIiLCIxNDE1QTEiLCIxNDE2MTMiXQ== https://flag.rachel.systems/#Wy0xLCJFQkVERUEiLCJCNUI3MjYiLCI...
- perihelions 5y agoI think my screen's color profile is out of spec
- arkitaip 5y agoJust give it a smack, jiggle it a bit. Stand a few feet to the left, raise your arms and jump a few times.
- prox 5y agoIt is fun! Only one problem, it breaks the back button if you change a few things and want to go back to say HN.
- ismayilzadan 5y agoI think it registers every single action as a route. Then when you click back you reverse visit all those routes again.
- scratchyone 5y agoYeah this is def the problem, I’m gonna mess with the web history API and see if I can fix that issue.
