  ... like the ethernet port on the ... power brick? They shipped one major hardware improvement, and that has been an architectural change that took years. However, the problem with removing perks that employees like is you're going to lose your best people, because those can just quit and have another job next week. You'll be left with those that can't afford to quit because they won't find another job easily, which in IT means not so competent. I remember the rumor mill when Marissa Mayer canceled work from home at Yahoo saying they're losing all their good people. Considering what's left of Yahoo it looks like the rumors were right.
