A Video Game That Looks Like Reality

He was showing that different solutions came closer to looking realistic, and using those methods in incremental amounts (20% in one example) along with the tensor solution made huge improvements. Also, the quirk of being able to give trees to California's mountains. Some of what he said reminded me of discussions of HDR photography, wherein a lot of people consider the much-too-realistic colouring and lighting tends to make the picture look less real instead. Likewise with too many FPS in movies, where producers have to add fake camera blur to avoid the fakeness of looking "too real". This was a common complaint when 4K television became a thing, and Rosie O'Donnell's facial skin became the joke about how things can look all too real.
