Entertaining but it's not as hypocritical as it looks. Plastics represent about 4-5% of all oil and gas production. Energy and transportation are by far the main offenders. In any case it's basically like saying you can't care about the environment if you drive an ICE car. Plastic for clothing makes a lot of sense compared to stuff like single use products. Plastic is durable and water resistant which are exactly the qualities you want for jackets, etc. Going back to leather and animal products aren't great options.
