Antivirus software company Norton now allows Ethereum mining via pool service
- gus_massa 5y agoCan you still mine Ethereum in a GPU? I thought you need an ASIC to be profitable.
- verdverm 5y agoMaybe it depends on the perspective of who's looking for profits and how to achieve them... and just perhaps someone is riding the hype train to sell some software?
- gus_massa 5y agoWhen I was young, the Norton package was the first thing to install in a new computer. Now the brand has fall a lot and IIUC this is another big jump down :( . @Peter: If you are reading this, can you pull a McAfee and make an interesting video. (But perhaps skip the later part about going to jail...)
