The larger the attack surface, the easier it is. Large corps with thousands of employees and legacy infrastructure is usually not that hard to breach. While i haven't kept up with cyber security in a while i think the problem is largely the same. Security is not baked in, it's an afterthought at best and because of that there's shortage of talent.
