'The EU' only receives a tiny amount of your tax money. The taxes you pay nationally is why (at least in North+West EU) we don't have crumbling infrastructure or education like America is experiencing. You sound like someone who wants the benefits of a country with strong taxation without paying into that pot. Not okay.
